Today I would like to share my favourite images from my maternity shoot I had with Samantha Jackson. She is one of the very best and comes highly recommended. Most of you would know that I was reluctant to do a maternity shoot as I did not feel my best during most of my pregnancy. I was really scared that I would regret not doing one so I finally did and I am really so happy that I did. Beautiful maternity images is something every woman should have.

In a nutshell, pregnancy is really such a special experience and having the photos to keep afterwards, is something you will always have, to remember when your kids are older (and when you are older too).

We did the shoot at the beautiful BOSJES, which is also the venue where Rod and I got married. It was really lovely to be back there and re-live all the memories. We shot at the home we stayed in, as well as the church we got married in.

I am super excited to share my images with you, and if you would like to get in touch with Samantha Jackson please have a look at her website for more information

Fear Is Not My Enemy

I feel fear still but it is no longer my enemy. For years I struggled with paralysing fear that used to cause havoc in my body. Anxiety steered my life and I actually had a condition where my skin broke out in an intense rash, I had to go to the emergency room at the hospital every now and again to get treated. Now, after treating it a bit better (no medical treatment by the way, just weeding the cause) I can actually cope with feeling the fear but going ahead anyways.
